Light bar
Bought a light bar from Exploration outfitter. One of there 20" flood, from ZERO DARK LIGHTING. Had them install a daystar rocker switch also.
Great light, will see how it does for long term.
Had to make sure the light looked good from them angles also.

Mike, If I could put this ride high enough in the air to take a complete undercarriage shot, let just say this, there are only 2 spots that don't show hits/damage. My spare tire and the muffler ( and it's the original one ).
I'm surprise about the muffler the way it is just sticking out there saying, HIT ME. I have had to take my skids off and pound them back into some what shape.
I see a Rubicon in the future.
Them sliders helped a lot, I even have dents in them.

How'd you mask of the yota emblems on the centercaps? Litereally tape around, or what? I find it very hard to do that, and wanted to ask for input on an easier way.

Fishing string I find works very well and will not break as easily as the floss.

With mine, I painted my rims and caps with flat , and clear coated over them.
With the caps, used flat and then used some gray color with a q tip and hit the emblem only, clear coat after.

TC gussits
I notice another member kkz did this in another thread and commented on it. He had his steering knuckles from his and offered me to use them so I didn't have any down time. So I gladly took him up on his offer. Just have to give him my old set, cool.
Order a set of TC weld on gussets for SB capable. Just ran into one problem I had to modify, the LR ucas upper ball joints wasn't long enough to bolt onto with using the cotter pin afterwards. I got creative.
Made my own castle nut.

Great looking build Leonard, i dont come over to the 4th gen section too often to keep myself from buying one. I love all the clean and capable 4th gens on here.
I didn't want to muck up Rob's build so i thought i would ask in here, how are the STTs in the snow and rain? You mentioned that they seemed to chunk easily in the rocks and were wearing more quickly than you anticipated, how many miles do you have on them currently and could you take a photo or two of the worst chunking that you have? They are one of the few tires i can get in a 295/70r17 and are currently my frontrunner for my next tire.

Thanks Nathan, just putting it together for more of my camping and slight adventures, just started to get suckered in with all those gen3 guys, like Rob, Jon and Mien telling me " oh you can make it in there, yours can do it", yah right, more mods to cover the carnage that I'm doing to follow where you go.
Actually, them gen3's are better for modding for the off roadding in my opinion. The gen4 just gives you more comfort, power and luxury.
In the rain, not to bad, there soft rubber that give grip, just not as much as a h/t tire though. I haven't hit the snow yet, and they DON'T have the snow emblem on these tires.
The chunking is only if you power up and break traction on the rocks climbing, I only had that happen on the " GOAL POST " as Rob calls it. Snake Lake trail.
It is a very step incline a good 45* angle if not more. I had to power up pretty hard, no lockers.
I say they wear off 1/4" of tread on 3-4k miles ( street driving ) but, I tend to drive like Mario Andredie.
I have on another tire where it removed half a nobbie. There not mounted at the time as you can tell. Honestly, for trying that climb and putting the hammer down as Jon calls it, I'm surprised I didn't chunk more. I haven't had any more chunking on other runs as I can crawl through in lo4 with the power and torque my gen has.
Imho, there pretty good tires for the price, but, I don't think they would do as nice as the pitbulls and other high dollar tires, same as in the snow as they have different M/T pattern/directional nobbies.

A little follow up on these Cooper STT'S-
Got invite saying, SNOW RUN FRIDAY. Yah, what snow. So made a run with Mien4x4 and his boys for a day trip. Ran up to the Rubicon for a short run. we did find some snow, but patchy, and a lot of icy conditions
On to the tires- got on the snow, minimal powder, but enough, when aired down, great traction. When aired up still gripped, but not as a/d, loose traction on climbs aired up.
Iced up- This part was on the off road trail, so was going over boulders and granite rock.
Have to keep the foot on the brake and feather them. I could get it to stop on the ice as long as I roll slow with the brake.
Over all, I like the tire and the performance, other than the quik wear down as a street tire due to soft rubber compound.
