Headlight output Question ???

Im in a 99, and i personally hate the light output i get from the headlights. It just seems really weak to me. I cant afford to do a whole retrofit and what not, so my question is, can anybody give me some suggestions on a way i can increase output. Obviously i can trade out the bulbs, but i have no experience so another question would be what bulbs would be best?
Thanks

bulbs would be your best bet for your cheep upgrade, i dont think our stock wires can handle 100W bulbs.

i ditched my stock ones and put in sylvania silver star ultras, the light output is a bit better as well as the color, it more of a clear white. i also adjusted my head lights up quite a bit. i dont get flashed by other drivers but it definitely was needed to be adjusted.

Changing light bulbs is definitely not hard but it's difficult in a way because of having to work in such a tight space. I would definitely not go over any bulb that's 55W because like stated above you run the risk of burning up the harnesses. There are bulbs out there that do offer a more clean light. Sylvania silverstar line up is good.

X2 for the Sylvania SilverStars. Not a dramatic change, but some people (usually idiots) will ask me if they are hid's.

Do you have fog lights? I know they don't help that much but they do add light to the bottom and sides.

Thanks guys, ive read the reviews and do they really burn out as fast as they say?

dont touch the class when installing them, or wear rubber gloves when installing. ive had my silver stars for 2 years with no problems.
