I'm looking to upgrade all the exterior lighting. I came across Headlight Revolution and they look good. However, they seem like a newer company. Has anyone dealt with them? If so, worth it?

I will be placing an order with them for leds in the near future. From what I have seen online people have mostly good things to say about them. Of course you have your standard shipping issues pop up from time to time, but have not come across anything that they didn't make right. I would call them before placing orders, just to verify what's on the shelf, plug and play, and shipping delays. Just my .02.

Just throwing in my opinion here but i have Auxbeam led high beams and fog lights. I have the low beams here now and im gonna install them today. i believe i got all the bulbs for them for around a $100 on amazon. Might be something to think about.

I am running there Supernova V.4 LED Headlights, H11 / H16 in my wifes 2018 Legacy and truly prefer the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 LED Headlight Bulbs (H11) im running in the 4Runner. The Supernova's are bluer in temp and I dont care for the fan noise. But just my $.02 worth. Others may/will have different opinions, thats what makes this site great. Different views and opinions and you formulate your own decision.

Very much agreed!!! I replaced my Amazon H11 Hakuri blubs with the Morimoto H11s and the difference is very noticeable. Also installed the high beams and the XB Fogs. They are so much quieter like you said, nice pure white color, and great light output. They are not the cheapest out there but I think they are the best. Very good alternative to HID and the lows/highs tood about 20 minutes to install and the fogs took about 30 minutes.

Just installed the perfect fit led for low beams and led in the reverse lights. What a remarkable difference. Emailed them about interior led options not posted on the website and got a response, with them offering to custom make a kit for me. Very good customer service/ relations. Will see how the leds work out over time.

-I appreciate their videos and measurements/data
-They were timely, cordial and helpful with emailed questions
I think that's what you are paying for vs. say, Amazon kits. Well, that and their demo vehicles. I'm cool with that.
Now for an unsolicited comment. Feel free to disregard:
Having bought the Perfect Fit LED's for the low beams, I've found I'm not a fan of LED headlight retrofits in halogen projectors... or rather not a fan of 6000k color lights, too blue for me and not super "throwy". They were bright and quite evenly patterned at short range. That was NOT a knock against H.R or even LED's, just a lesson I learned that is specific to me. The LED's were actually kind of excellent considering they were going into something not designed for them. I guess bit better than stock bulbs, for sure. I've got nice halogen H11's and 9011's, now.

You kind of have to appreciate the work they do with the comparisons of the lights they feature. For us, we are lucky they do use a 5th gen 4Runner on some of their bulbs.
I wouldn't say their pricing is higher for the same brand and model elsewhere. They just don't offer considerably cheaper alternatives like the stuff you find at Amazon. If you can find it, promo codes help bring down the prices as well.
I will admit, I did purchase their LED bulb kit for the internal lights. Yes - it was much more expensive than what I could have found on Amazon. But after reading Amazon feedback of people complaining of bulbs pre-maturely burning out, flickering, inconsistent color temps, and even one having their dome housing catch on fire - It was enough for me to go ahead and spend the extra couple of bucks for the quality stuff. So far the lights have been in for about 3 months and they are great. Huge improvement over stock incandescent bulbs.
I really can't complain about the customer service from HR. They have been quick with responses. Shipping was also quick.
At the end of day, none of us can tell each other how to spend our money. We all have own opinions and views on how we do things. What matters is that the end user is happy and expectations are met.

I ordered the Supernova v4's for my high and low beams as well as the Perfect fits for the fog lights. They were certainly not the cheapest option, but I like the work they do testing and explaining things. I expect the bulbs to last a good long while and so the added expense of going with them over Amazon made sense to me. I also like the idea of rewarding a company that puts all the effort into their informative marketing.
That said, when it came to replacing the interior bulbs and the reverse lights I went the Amazon route and I've been pleased on all counts.

I'm in the process of researching some LEDs to put into my vehicle. I've narrowed it down to the Supernova V.4s or the Morimoto 2stroke 2.0. How're you liking the V.4? Hows the light output and did you think it was worth the extra cash to get them over say the Morimoto?

I bought from them with zero issues, I bought the super nova v4s.. I bought from them since they put a lot of work into testing their lights. I have no complaints with the v4s either, tons of light and nice beams.. that being said I haven't run anything else other than stock and these to compare. Way way better than stock of course..

Hella H9: HL78178 H9, 12v 65w Xenon Bulb | Rally Lights
I'm told these are "special" Hella/Osram H9's from a Tacoma halogen lighting forum post... They are better to my eyes than some Phillips H9's I tried. Specifically, the pattern and throw seemed better.

"Better" color temp will be subjective. They are about the same color as stock, just brighter. They will need the bases modified to work. The H9's in the low beams were a modest improvement. The 9011 high beams were noticeably brighter than stock.
EDIT: I guess I forgot about the H11's. I tried Osram Nighbreaker Laser H11's before the H9's. They were good, seemed to throw further than stock, but the Hella/Osram H9's throw about as good, but have a better light "fill" in the rest of the pattern. Phillips Xtremevision H11 is good too. I wanted to try some GE H11's, but I'm happy with the H9's. If I want more light now, I'll need a proper HID conversion or some aux lamps.
