Looking into replacing the stock headlights on a 2007 SR5 and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what to get? Something not too expensive preferably. Thanks!
unless you're really into your headlights.
First off, T-Bruff, welcome to our forum. With that out of the way, we need more information in order to answer your question. Are you stating that you want to replace the entire headlight housing, or just the bulbs? Obviously, there are options for both.
Restore the lens with wet sanding and mesquires plastic Polish. After it is polished wipe it with 50% IPA then apply OPT Opti-Lens. If done properly it will last for years. One syringe of of Opti-Lens will do a few vehicles.
What grits should be used, and what's IPA? Sorry never restored headlights before but really need to do mine, they're pretty and blacked out but you don't appreciate them much when they're yellow and hazy lol

Thanks for the answers guys, could I use something like the 3m kit and then apply OPT?
Yes. Any of the kits. Then wipe with IPA, then coat with OPT Opti-lens.
Cool, I'll pick up a kit and some OPT, stuffs pricy but if it works as well as you guys say then I don't mind!
