heater core and misc vac lines

So i'm in the process of hooking everything up and realize the front heater core is probably full of junk. there is a blueish buildup in there and it was practically plugged with it so i'm thinking i'll just replace it instead of tempting fate.

Do i need to go OE or is a Spectra core sufficient? also, if the front core looks this bad should i dig into the rear core and see if its trashed too? there is a little surface rust on one of the lines but I'm hoping its superficial.

Also, while I'm asking, where is the best place to source vac lines. A few of mine are dried out and cracked so do ya'll order from toyota or just use generic line from a parts store?

thanks in advance

Since these are so hard to change I'd go for a Denso unit which would be equivalent to OEM. RockAuto should have them and they're probably not that expensive.

I was curious and looked, can't find a new Denso unit anywhere though. Possible they were not the OE manufacturer?

not certain but my buddy works for a part supplier and hopefully will be able to pull it up for me soon.

Back again, want to clarify something.

As i was bolting everything in today i realized the dipstick tube had a hardline bridge on it but im imagining that is for either an auto or tacoma/t100 specific. Can anyone confirm?

Everything seems to have a place and is already plugged in without this.

Not at stock part, we don't have any lines that run there. Most likely off another Toyota like you said. Truck on.

Interesting. Haven't seen that one before. Looks like a coolant line of some sort to me based on size and the larger bulbs at the ends. Wonder if there is a 3.4 option somewhere for an different oil cooler configuration or something. New one on me bro. Both ends are empty, so shouldn't matter at all at this point.
