Hello and Help! ABS problems or worse.....

Hello I am new to this forum. I have found a lot of useful information on this site. I just bought an 05 4Runner SE. I have a problem after installing a Daystar 2.5" leveling kit / front end alignment along with new brakes all around. I am sure that this may be found somewhere else on this site but I can't seem to find anything on it. I am probably not using the right search criteria.
I noticed when applying the brakes that at some point at lower speed the 4R would pulse like when you have a warped brake rotor but it wasn't felt in the brake peddle(seemed to come from the back brakes). I thought it odd since every thing was new or almost new, I had the rear rotors turned. I thought I must have did something wrong but didn't know what. I have replaced brakes on all my cars and trucks for the last 35 years and never had a problem.
Yesterday I took the 4R out to do some playing around on dirt/ice and snowy roads(Spring thaw). After messing around with the different traction controls and coming out onto the hard surface road when slowing to a stop the brakes would shudder like the ABS was trying to work. The brakes go crazy when backing up and I apply the brakes. They act as if I were using the DAC control.
Any one know what the heck is going on???

Any lights lit up on dash? I would also run a diagnostic check and see what codes (if any) kick out. Did you install the lift? Not that you are dumb but I would check lug nut security as well. Just my $0.02 but without seeing/feeling this anomaly it's hard to help.

I would assume that the ABS line may have gotten tweaked.

This may not be your problem as you say you think its the rear brakes..but anyway, I knew my rotors were somewhat warped from the pulsing/vibration when stopping..they were on the to do list..but I recently got 4 new tires, balanced, alignment checked..perfect.. I rarely get up to highway speed where I live but about a week after the tires I did..the truck felt like it was gonna come apart in my hands the faster I drove..at 60 I could barely hold the wheel..took it back to the tire place and asked them to check the balance..what I found out was both front calipers weren't fully releasing and thereby heating the hell out of the rotors..hence the more serious vibration at speed.. apparently its a known issue (I have an 05 SR5)..the lower pistons tend to rust and hang.. Put on new pads, rotors, calipers both sides and its smooth as glass again.. The rear brakes only have a single piston on each side of the caliper and not as prone to this but maybe check your calipers all the way around if the ABS checks out..though I would think the ABS would throw a code if you have a reader.
