It's taken me 20 vehicles or so, but I finally bought a 98 4Runner yesterday! I've been checking out this site for a while now and it's already helped me along in the first day's worth of poking and prodding on her. What engine/transmission package does your t4r have? Do you have the diff lock option?

It's got the automatic with the 3.4 V6. I was looking hard for a good one with the locking diff and low km's but it wasn't happening. I don't really need it but it would be nice to have. I had a 94 Pathfinder before and never got into a situation where I needed a locker. I would love to have the 5 speed as well but there will be random people driving my truck so I figured the automatic would be better.(I'm a fishing guide so there are lots of different shuttle drivers)
