Hi!

My name is Cristian ,i'm a molecular biologist and also a weekend mechanic ,after a few months looking for a DD replace (previous was a 1997 Discovery XS) i finally bought my uncle's company car ,and yes ....it's a toyota

i was looking for a LR3 or a Range Rover Sport ,many of the second hand you might get here in Santiago at a car lot ,have a lot of details due to life spam of parts ,for ex. a 2006 - 2007 LR with air suspension already has leaks and you can hear how the compressor works more than normally does ,wrecked interiors ,lots of miles and many body details

uncle offer me the 4runner at a really good price ,a 2011 sr5 4x4 with 24.000 miles on the clock ,third row seats still with the plastic covers and also the floor mats ,i say hello to cheap service every 6.000 miles ,and no electronic gremlins as new land rovers have ,i'm amazingly happy after a week owning this V6

i've been reading a lot about the dieselish sound the engine has ,specially outside the car you can feel a "clack, clock, clack" ,as many post say is due the roller rockers system though (i'm kind of used to the hidrulic tappets)

i'm still a Land Rover owner ,i like classic range rover ,while less electronic is better for me ,thats why i love 70's rangies

some photos ,my new DD ride
