Wife and I are new to Toyota but already love this vehicle.

Went looking for a new Tundra and came home with a 2010 4Runner, Pearl White, with 25K on the clock. Wife so loves me know!!

1 yr factory warranty left on power and drive train. Since this is my first experience with Toyota I want to know if aftermarket warranty is recommended? Has anybody had a good experience? With who?

Am I better off putting the $2800 in the bank and using it to make repairs?

Thanks for being here.....Love the forum

You can purchase the 7 year 125k warranty at the dealer for about $1600. they will try to charge you more to make more money, but you should be able to talk them down to right around 1600.

DO NOT BUY THE AFTERMARKET warranty, buy the Toyota Motors Warranty. the dealer will even try to sell you a non Toyota warranty but insist on the Toyota warranty and you will be good. if the warranty says MMP, MTS, or some other brand they are selling you a 3rd party warranty and it has ALOT of exclusions. Just make sure the warranty you buy is "TOYOTA", and yes buy it if you plan on keeping the vehicle.
