Hi Everyone. First time 4runner owner, LOOOONG time admirer.
Have always wanted to own a 4runner and with our first baby on the way and momma needing a new car, I chose to get rid of my GTI for a 2000 4runner with 82k miles. Now I have a new toy and no car payment!
I've never really had car that I wanted to work on myself and "mod" until now so I'm looking forward to reading all the build threads and starting on my own.
I think the first order of business will be to replace the spark plugs and wires as I'm getting roughly 15 MPG. Any other maintenance suggestions if I have a few hundred bucks to spend?
