Hello all, I just purchased a 2000 4runner limited 4x4 I love it! As I was driving I noticed the radio light flickering when I would hit a bump and when I tap the HU it lights up but then goes out when driving on rough roads. What can I do to fix it I would appreciate it thanks.:sadwave:

If you can't find the culprit, there is always a chance something came loose internally in the head unit. In which case a used head unit might be in order (fairly cheap) or it might be time to consider an aftermarket (or Scion) "upgrade" (cheap----to----expensive).
When pulling the trim off, theres a write-up here somewhere, try not to rush yourself to much. Make sure you logically think about what and where your pulling, make sure you've gotten all the fasteners out, and try not to destroy the trim piece. (it does take a little force though, so don't be to timid.)

I just took out a Scion Pioneer unit to upgrade to a new Pioneer touch screen.
It's the Scion Pioneer T1807. Same unit as the stickied install write up in the audio section here
I'd let it go for beer $$ and shipping $.
