Help, are these not fixable or only replacemet?

Hi
I am st 115k miles 2009 model and my mech says these 3 nagging ptoblems require full replacement.

1) Spolier light, replace spolier for not fixable, really?
2) Right rear light LEDs partually dead, replace the full rear light?
3) Clicking AC switching noise, replace AC system?

Had checked here didnt come up with anything on search.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regarding the 3rd brake lamp in the spoiler, the lamp assembly must be replaced, but not the entire spoiler. You have to pull the spoiler to do so, but it's not difficult.
I had to do this on my 2003 recently. There are how-to threads here on the forum, as well as videos on YouTube.

If the tail lamps are led, the entire assembly must be replaced.

A/C, not sure on that one.

Regarding AC,

There are 3 actuators that control the doors which direct air flow. If you have a limited with dual climate, there are 4 actuators.

When the actuators go bad, the plastic gears grind and start making clicking noises. Eventually they break and make a crazy loud grinding nose.

The official repair manual states to properly fix these, you have to take apart the entire dash, which is a huge pain the ass. But there is a work-around for two in the center which seem to go bad most commonly.

If you do surgery on the servo, think about putting a dab of red or green loctite on the electric motor sprocket shaft after getting it positioned where you want it. It should keep it from shifting again.
