Help. Loud scraping noise on hard right turn.

Coming out of a gas station onto the street I turned the wheel all the way to the right. scraping noise which disappeared with going straight. easy to replicate the noise seems to be getting worse. Thoughts appreciated.

Sounds like your inner fender is popped out and getting tire rub on turns...knock it back in once your temps increase a bit more

Inner fender is ok. Just had xreas replaced on the opposite side. Just wondering.

changed a flat tire on the location lately!

My daughters 4Runner experienced a flat on the front drivers side.:redbrick:
Put spare on and had same problem.
Spare rim had been replaced with an improper depth rim prior to her purchase.

Underbody skid plate bent?

Had a similar issue: hard turn to the right and I'd get a scraping noise. Turns out that it was the left side of my front underbody skid plate was bent. I bent it back more upright, so it didn't rub on the tire on full lock turn, and the problem disappeared.

splash guard somehow bent above the wheel/tire. bent back into place. all better.
