Help me out guys

Hey everyone,

I need some advice/appraisal help. I currently have a 2000 2wd Limited that for a long time I have wanted to convert. However, my buddy has a 2000 4R highlander that he is going to sell and hes buying a porsche. So I need some fair cost estimates on what mine would be worth and what his would be worth.

I have about 118k Miles Limited package, tint, tow, the works. (I would move all my mods to his truck if I buy it before selling mine)

His has about 175k Miles but has been well maintained (I trust my buddy fully). It has rear heat, alarm, etc.

Think you guys can help me out on some figures? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Yours, maybe 6-6.5k if it's in great condition and up to date on maintenance.

His, probably 6k as well. A bit higher miles, but it's close to the timing belt change interval so I'd look into that. If it needs it done then maybe 5.5k as long as everything is in good shape.

Although I'm not sure how the market is in Tuscon, so that changes things.

Dude have you tried Kelly blue book website? NADA?
Those websites compile historical data from actual sales in your area.

This forum is about the worst place to get a realistic estimate of what you will be able to sell it for.

Everyone seems to think their 4Runner is made of gold.

Yeah I've tried it and Edmunds, but I take great pride in the knowledge everyone on T4R has and can offer.

KBB and Edmunds are not very accurate here. Ive sold 2 cars now atleast 2 or 3k over appraisal, and my buddy has as well.

But wasn't that with all the aftermarket stuff. Some people that doesn't add value, but it does to some people. Your 4runner stock could probably pull 7K, but 9.5K for a 2wd is insane, no offense.
