I'm such an amature lol, It might have mud in it..but idk i was thinking it could be the alt. but theres no telling till i get the new battery.

Still nothing i got a new battery and nothing, it even has more CCA then the old one, can someone help or give me some options??:moping:

The first thing they thought us in class was to check the easy and simplest thing to get to first. That applies to everything.
Did the truck start after you replaced the starter and jumped it off?

You mention you replaced the starter. Did you make sure the connection to the starter was connected?
How about the terminals? Are they clean with a good connection?
Did you check the starter fuse?
And check your ground.

yeah everything is and looks alright i started with the fuses, then it led me to the starter after i replaced that i got a buddy to jump me, but nothing. so i got a new battery and got it all nice and hooked up but still nothing. now it wont even click like it used to and there are no noises, thats why i come to think its seized, but its near impossible for a 4runner with that low of miles to seize

Is it cranking but not turning over or is it not even cranking? Do any of your accessories work... i.e. headlights, interior stuff?

When you insert the key does the dash light up? When you turn the key is the engine cranking over at all, or does nothing happen? When did the problem start, and did you do anything, for example, set the vehicle on fire, or park in a mud hole, that may have caused the symptoms you are experiencing?

Your problem sounds more electrical then mechanical. If you really think its seized check the dipstick and see what your engine oil looks like. Im not sure where you could have gotten mud into but check all your main entry points, i.e. intake, throttle body, fluids, etc... to see if there are any signs of water/mud. But again I really think there is something electrical going on. Mud/water/ moisture and electrical don't mix and can wreak havoc on your truck

the dash lights up and i have power to all acc. but no clicking from the solenoid, and i was mudding a little bit and thats when i started having the problem.

i took it to my friends house to drop him off and get a CB but when i came out to lturn the car on the solenoid just clicked once. then i had it towed back to my house which wasn't far at all like 2 streets over. and thats when i replaced everything the battery, starter. just now nothing happens, could it be a fuse or relay?

yeah my oil is fine its been routinely maintaned, and as far as the entry points theres no sign of mud n water

Wow you really jumped the gun on replacing things well before it was needed. I hope you saved some receipts. Given the fact that you replaced almost your entire starting system I would say wait it out a day and give it a chance for things to dry up. I wouldn't replace anything else until you get a good volt meter and just start doing basic checks of your engine components.

I would hose down the motor to remove all the crap you might have flinged up the bay. Maybe a connection is covered with mud .

Do u have a alarm installed?
recheck your fuses and starter relay

yeah i have all the receipts and its been pretty dry here in houston other then all the rain but its been in the garage for about 3 days since. i did everything to day o replace it. where should i start looking into on the electronics?
