HELP! Need OEM or Aftermarket Lower Control Arms w/KDSS

Need some help. My Rig is sitting in a shop with no lower control arms. The bushings were seized so we ordered the Moog replacements that they claimed were a fit for the original arms with KDSS. There is no bracket for the KDSS sway bar on the Moog arms. (Moog says they will develop one at some point and were surprised it did not fit.) A local Toyota dealership said they had the arms in stock so we ordered them and tried to remove the bushings. In the process we destroyed the original arms. After two days of the parts not showing up and the dealership claiming the driver "disappeared" we need another option. (Apparently the OEM arms are all but nonexistent. Toyota is backordered on them and no one seems to have them.) Anyone know of any solution for this, somewhere to get the OEM part, aftermarket or a work around?

I would get in to contact with Mike at Offroad Warehouse in SoCal. DirtKing has OEM replacement LCA's that are KDSS specific.

Website isn't showing the KDSS arms but I know they have them. Also if you talk to Mike he'll get you a better price... Performance Lower Control Arms

I ran DK lowers on my titan, they were nothing short of beautiful. and bulletproof. Just by going to a Delrin bushing instead of rubber made the truck handle much better.

Ran into the same problem with a friends truck a while back. Took a month or two to get a KDSS LCA. They are very rare. We limped on his old one until it showed up. Standard LCAs are everywhere.

No real answer besides wait...

This is one reason I always suggest thinking twice before buying one with KDSS. It's not usually an issue, but when parts or repair is needed... it sucks and can be very frustrating.

I would burn out the old bushings and press in new ones. I have not done it.. but have hear of people doing this... Do some searches on fjcrusier forum.. be aware the 2010 plus LCA have a slightly wider mount (I think).

The old bushings have been burnt out. However it has seriously weakened the arm so there's an issue with simply replacing the bushings. Hopefully Monday we can just get the arms we thought we had when we started this mess. Otherwise I have located some OEM arms with KDSS in California or the Dirt ings w/KDSS are in stock too. As well sometime in the future I would expect MOOG to develop the LCA with KDSS. They were quite shocked that their part didn't have the mounting bracket and we took lots of pictures for them. As near as I can figure none of the other aftermarket LCA's are KDSS compatible.

I appreciate what you're saying about KDSS and complexity etc. However, I'd get a Toyota with it again. Love the ride and in the 50,000 miles I have on so far I have only had this issue which could have been avoided through some patience on our part
