Guys i have a coil over from Toytec... went to disassemble today was having issues with a squeak that i realized was from i washer i shouldnt have used in the install. could not get the retaining bolt off the top of the shock mount and ended up exploding my shock. I still have my old shocks and am going to put one on so i can at least drive as needed.
I want to replace the nut... can i use a high quality one from lowes or home depot? this is just the nut that goes on to the shock.
This is temporary until i can get another set of 5100. Also anyone know what i can do so prevent this from happening again, anti seize?
