Help putting price on my 3rd Gen

Might have to sell her to upgrade to a 5th Gen. Just want to be sure I ask right price!

1997 SR5 6cyl Auto Black with Tan interior
98,900 miles as of now approx.

Purchased with 86K miles from a friends car business. He got at auction and it was a great find. If you run carfax the first service right up to my purchase is documented. I have documents since then as well.
Inside is as clean as new, flip up seats you name it there isn't one stain or wear in seats or carpet. I have all stock floor mats still. Not one feature is broken or damaged inside.

Things I have done:
20" LED light bar in front bumper (OKLED brand)
99 Glass headlight housings with OKLED bulbs
Satashi grill mod with FJ emblem
Tundra coils and Tundra 5100's on 2nd clip
OME rear springs with tacoma 5100 shocks and stud elimintator on top
Plasti dipped bumpers
All new rotors and pads in front, Autozone gold whatever carbon mix rotors
New shoes in rear brakes and adjusted
Oil changes done every 3K.
Diff drop in front for CV angles
16" SCS wheels in matte bronze
265/75-16 Goodyear Duratracs have approx 4K miles on them
Tinted front windows and strip over windshield
Remote start to eliminate stock alarm system that liked to go off so often
Clarion radio with bluetooth and all those goodies for music
All new JL Audio speakers (stock size replacements) No modifications
Weather tec digital fit floor matts after 1st day of owning

Otherwise rig is completely stock. There is extremely low surface rust being from northeast. And in no way has anything rusted so bad its falling off. Body has 0 rust and issues. I wash and keep waxed. Hood has very minor dings almost looks like it was in hail but nothing major. Roof paint is still perfect. Factory roof rack in tact. Only picture I sort of have as of now:

Looking to know what is going to be a fair asking price for it and what to sell if for before I get it up for sale. Hate to see it go but a new Trail Premium or a TRD Pro will help ease the pain!

you will find out that mods dont pay for themselves in the long run, unless you are selling to a teenager with deep pockets from dad. I would be comfortable starting that thing off at $10,000 just because of the miles but i personally dont think you would get it. Most 3rd gens in PA go between 4-8k being completely stock. Who knows though, if you have time to sit on it while it is listed, you might find the right buyer.

I understand completely, and this is FARRR from the first lifted aged sale. I just want to be sure the price I sell for is in range. I know its got a strong value alone with mileage and condition, suspension and all is just a nice extra for whoever gets. I didn't expect 10K but had idea it would be a high start. I may say 8 would be the right number for me or damn close to it. Thanks any more input helps.
 
Your location says NY, but the photos are in Australia. Are you looking for a price in USD, or AUD? ;)

No damn clue why they posted upside down.

I'll accept USD if possible. Or a LOT of money in beer funds!

i was looking at the upside down pictures at work and the guy beside me asked if something was wrong with me hahaha... Just thought i would give you a price range since we are northeast brothers and are pretty far from the SoCal crew.
 
Like others said, changing out the suspension and tires doesn't really cater to very many but a few. Some buyers will find it a nuisance since it's harder to get in or out of the vehicle. You do have low mileage though so that's a big plus. If that were selling in California I would expect it to sell in the $8000-$9000 range, but over here they sell at a premium and are consistently higher priced.

If you've got time on your hands and are in no rush try for a higher price but don't count on it if you are needed those extra funds to buy your new 4Runner.
 
I can't tell, is this 4x4? That will make all the difference. I'm guessing it is. I don't know the market in your area. Over here, I'd start around $9-10k, but expect $8-9k maybe (this is a high market area). Great condition and nice wheels.

In order to get the best price, you'll want to roll it back over onto its wheels when you sell it ;)

I could not make heads or tails of the 4Runner upside down, my brain couldn't process the image in any sort of legible fashion. If he had posted a photo of a motorcyle I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. I was able to pick up that it was black though...
 
Ditch all the aftermarket parts and return it to stock. If someone wants to spend big bucks on a clean 3rd Gen, they want bone stock. I would ask 9k and leave negotiation room once stock.

I'm in Wallkill but always in Newburgh/new Windsor area. We're close if your still in Monroe.

As for all of you I again completely understand suspension and tires limit a crowd but catches the eyes of some. No I am not in NEED of selling it and getting a new one but I know I will have to let it go I can't have 2 just sitting here.

I had plan of starting at 10 and if it goes awesome. If not I may cap it at 8 as my lowest price until I'm desperate. Thanks everyone. Now just waiting for dealer to tell me what they can find me
