Helpful link for new owners

Hey guys. I did a quick search and didn't see anyone mention this. I'm sure some of you know this but for those that don't, if you go to toyota.com and go to owners you can put your VIN and register. It will give you access to any service records that where completed at Toyota.

This was mentioned in the 4th gen section and was helpful in making my decision when I bought my '06. And helped me put together a little history on my '97 I just picked up.

You can even add your own records of work that was completed. Even shows you all of the local toyota dealers and any service sales they may have.

I didn't see this in the 3rd gen buying guide section but maybe it could be added to the sticky (unless i clearly missed it!)

Thanks for the 'reminder'....I registered sometime back and forgot about the site.

Just logged in to update and added the 4Runner I purchased recently. I found out the vehicle had the cat converter stolen twice and the PO paid for genuine OEM replacements twice (OUCH).

All I got was a 89k service with no information on what actually was done. I got not records from the deal I bought it from so who knows what's been done to it.
