My first post, so I figured I'd open in the new member thread. Brand new to 4Runners, 4WD and this forum, though I'm not new to forums and know how to use the search feature. I bought a 2004 Sport with 120K which I took possession of yesterday and am loving it!!!! The only problem is it took me this long! I traded in a 08 Mini Cooper S Convertible in an even swap which will be missed, but what a great consolation.
I made the trade to be able to get deep into the Colorado Mountains in support of my photography all times of year, go anywhere I want to and sleep in the vehicle as needed.
My sport is pretty close to perfect as is, though the tires need to be replaced before I get into anything beyond a dirt road. I also foresee a head unit and possible headlight upgrade in the near future.
Looking forward to using the forum as the bible for all modifications and general knowledge.
