I see the California Association of 4WD Clubs is sponsoring an event at Anderson Dry Lake in Johnson Valley this weekend. The down side is they charge to get in.

It looks interesting from their brief write up and they mention trail rides. They don't give any detail about the runs other than scenic to hard core. I sent an e-mail, but no response yet.

Anyone going or have any info on this? I'm thinking of Saturday and the easier runs.

I received this today from the club:

I hoping that I have a leader for the more easy/scenic ride, if not then I will be leading that run. We have two moderate runs and one hard run so far (hoping for more)
Registration/safety will be open Friday evening
Saturday, driver meeting is 7:30 then they will leave after that.
Sunday adult games 9-3
kids games 3-5
Kids awards start at 6:30
Adult awards and raffles (kids/adults) start at 7:30

Hi Bob,

Met you on the Cleghorn drive. Sounds like fun but my sons are fighting in a International Tae Kwon Do event all weekend.

Can you PM the name of the shop that installed your 5100's ?
Still happy with the install ? Did they do a good job overall ?
