Just bought my first 4runner about a month ago and I have been enjoying this site and the info you guys have posted.
I have a 2006 and I bought a Hidden Hitch 70779 recently. I installed the hitch last night and everything went well except one of the block and handle nuts wouldn't fit into the frame hole on the passenger side.
This was the block and handle nut near the rear bumper. I torqued down every other bolt to spec. Do you guys see any issues with not installing that one bolt? I could probably drill out the frame hole to allow the block nut to slide through but currently I don't have the tools to do that.
I don't plan on doing any "heavy" towing soon but I would like to get a small travel trailer at some point.
