So I just put in a xenondepot extreme kit. Everything went good - lights came on no prob when I tested them. Except when I started the truck, everything shut right down. It didn't even try to start it was like an instant short.
I've had it boosted twice and when it boosts it starts right up no prob and runs okay. Besides when I start to move in drive and I no power at all until something like a spring (loud thwang - dunno how else to describe) and all the lights flicker off and then come back on and everything is fine. Then I can drive and everything works.
When I stop the truck again and turn it off after 20 mins of driving - same thing.
Now I forgot to unplug my DRLs and they are now disconnected but I'm still getting the same outcome... I have no idea what's wrong.
Searched everywhere and can't find any pointers or anything...Talked to a friend who put an aftermarket HID system in their merc and they needed a new battery and it's been working fine since.
