High Idle Idle After Cleaning Throttle Body

High idle too

My 89 started idling real high like 2,300 & sometimes stays that way for days. Once in a while it drops to normal and then goes back up. Also it occasionally goes down but fluctuates up down between 800 to 1.500. Driving me nuts. The TB butterfly doesn't seem to be sticking or dirty.. Any ideas and where are the sensors that might be doing this located???

I had the same problem after I cleaned my TB. I fixed it by pulling the idle control valve right below the TB and cleaning it. It is held onto the TB by three hoses and 4 screws. It took it completely apart and cleaned every thing and that fixed my high idle.
I followed one of the threads on this site to pull it.
