Highest Mileage on a third generation

99 limited 4wd w/326,099 mi, OG engine and tranny running smooth. Recently replaced the valve cover gaskets did the process Timmy the Toolman provided on YouTube. After cleaning the throttle body and it’s components meticulously, the car idles beautifully, purrs like a kitten! Hope to get another 300k miles out of her!

Just took my ‘99 Limited in for a service. 280k on the odometer. Runs like a brand new car. But the upholstery needs to be replaced. Really the only part of the car showing wear are the front seats.

Great to see but there are higher ones out there. The record was on in CA 1996 with over 700K Plus many years ago. So if that one is still going its probably near 800K or possibly 900K by now. Was a 5 speed though. Not an automatic with several clutches replaced. I am not sure what the record is for an automatic transmission. Then you have records of non opened engines/ Transmission.. So its really hard to say what the real numbers are. The one with 700K Plus was I think only a head gasket job so at that mileage.. It would be normal wear and tear for new head gaskets though.
