Hit curb pretty hard- should I have carinspected?

Hey guys
Long story short, I swerved hard on a freeway on ramp to avoid a car that came in my lane, ended up hitting my right front tire pretty hard at about 40-50 mph. Car seems to drive straight but I haven't fully tested it on a long drive. Would it be worth while to take it in to a shop to have the suspension inspected as well as the alignment?

If there was any major damage it would be apparent without a long road trip, i.e. drifting to one side or the other on a flat straight road, vibrations, steering wheel not centered, etc., but that doesn't mean something wasn't knocked a little bit out of spec, or bent, cracked etc., it wouldn't hurt to have an inspection done by someone that knows what to look at if you don't know what to look for yourself.
