Holy headlights that don't come out, batman!

WTF?!? Is up with the headlights on a 94 4runner? I mean, how much of the truck do I have to disassemble to put in a new bulb?

They aren't burned out, just painfully dim, which gets me to the real question:

Is there a reasonable upgrade that doesn't involve vast sums of money or aux lights?

You don't have to disassemble much of the truck. Go at it from behind. You need to move the window washer reservoir out of the way on one side, and then, either the radiator overflow or air filter intake out of the way.

Also, I threw some Sylvania Silverstar Ultras in, back in 2011. They're still going strong.

Still working? My silverstar ultra sets always burn out at the year mark. I wish mine lasted because they're nice bulbs. 3rd gen have 9003 though.

Surprisingly, they're the one thing that consistently work on my truck. Guess I better grab a spare set, just in case.
