Unfortunately my FIL's 2004 skid plate is rusted all to hell and falling apart too... might have to hook him up.

Yup, I wheel mine often enough. Welded right side frame near transmission mount same day, It was bad. I will make transmission skid too and add side protection to engine plate and add brackets to attach it to rad support. BTW, crud cutter in gel is good to consume rust. Too bad I found about this only now.
