Homebult Cargo Box

After looking around on the web for boxes, drawers, etc, I decided to build one from good quality 3/4" plywood. Sliding on the carpet back and forth it functions like a drawer. The center section helps support the upper platform. I will attempt to upload pictures...

Painted. I would consider upgrading to something better than a paint job. Do you have a recommendation on a covering/laminate material?

very nice. just what i wanted to do sincei use the double decker lid too (i have a hilift bolted to mine behind the seat.

what are the dims on it? any plans you could share?

Don't have any drawings. Just make it maximum size to take full advantage of the space. Only critical dimension is the center section height.

You could look into a bedliner type material like raptor liner or monstaliner

I had mine sprayed with rhinoliner. Im not sure which product from them but its been durable enough for everything I've thrown at it so far. Its a more rubberized feeling compared to a product like lineX but Ive been perfectly happy with it for interior use

is that because of the notch in the center of cargo cover? prevents from moving back and forth when drawers open (to an extent)?

Another covering option is the fabric used on guitar amps. With a laminate it would probably chip on the edges and corners so paint was a good idea.

It’s really slick and crisp you did a good job.
