Home made design is laser cut from 1/4" steel and is a solid piece of folded, steel. attaches to stock bumper mount and stock tow points directly to the frame. also accepts stock lighting for lower blinkers. has a winch plate with pre drilled mounting holes and accepts 5/8" clevis'. powder coated any color, tell me what you think!

That's not bad.

I'd be interested to see how it holds up to winching, since it uses the stock mounts.

Most people modify the end of the frame to make it stronger.

Get a winch on that thing and get some videos.

Yea what was added to strengthen frame. Did you square it off? Also you should have ran some small circles for led lights instead of the stock light. Stock blinkers mounted in there wont look as good.

yeah it looks like you are gonna have a hard time accessing the winch lever. also id suggest you add some other openings in the face of it, to get some air flow through there, i know the stock bumper has the lower openings in the valence. sure you have those dimple die? holes but still the face could use some slots or bigger openings with some expanded metal behind it to be a "screen". 1/4" is a bit over kill, maybe for the winch mount and front superstructure its ok, but the wings and other parts you could easily get away with some 3/16" and save some weight. -also how are those clevis mounts attached. i see you have welded them in front but are they passed through the bumper and plate welded to the back side of the bumper? if not they will bend and you risk them getting ripped off on a hard yank.

over all it looks good. the only other thing id suggest is like someone else stated dump the factory turn signals(i understand why you did that) and just use the marker lights up by the head lights for the turn signals, and then use those side wings for a place you can make recessed fog lights or driving lights, either square/rectangle ones or round ones... but yeah looks great man

Thanks for the input guys, I decided to go with the stock blinkers mainly for the concept of it being completely stock friendly. I agree it would look better but for the purpose I was trying to achieve I decided that was the way to go. As for the towing points they are projected through the front plate and welded along the inside and mount directly to the frame. I will try to post a few more pictures

if I might make a suggestion,

make the clevis mount larger. I think 2x as thick as it is now would be good.
size the pin hole, and the width to fit the clevis.

It looks very good. I've never built a 3rd gen bumper, but I've built plenty of bumpers and yours looks very well done. I would double check the access to the winch, otherwise it's good.

I like it a lot other than the idea of using the ridiculously oversize stock turn signals. Having a cut out that big on the wing really reduces the strength on the y axis. Which isn't a huge deal unless you catch something funny on the trail, but I would consider some 2 inch round led signals.

PS: where in SW fl are you located? I am down in Everglades city quite a bit.
