Trying to build it like my old Tacoma I used to own

2015 DCSB TRD Off-Road
Here's my setup: Front lift: Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Shocks set at 0. OME 885x coils and new Adjustable UCA's. Rear lift: Bilstein 5100 shocks. 1.5 inch add a leaf. Falken Wildpeaks A/T2 tires LT285/70/R17 (33s) Procomp 7032 matte black wheels 17x9 -6 offset.

So I did a thing yesterday. Removed the stock side steps, picked up a set of P285/70/17 Falken at3ws (from a buddy for $100) and ordered some 1.25” Spidertrax wheel spacers.

Rides smooth. No complaints at all.

You say the lift rides smooth, but that makes sense since it is the factory spring/shock combo. Have you noticed any increase in tippyness? Did you remove the XREAS system before or during the lift? I'm just curious how much difference it actually makes.

Wow, I cant believe you sold a 2017 colorado to get a 4th gen. I follow you on instagram, I did the daystar a few days before you. It looks great and you cant beat $105 for a lift. Let me know what you think of the 5th gen suspension vs the xreas.

Well I have ran spacer lifts on before on a JK wrangler and it rode like crap. So compared to previous spacer lifts its heaven. No increase in tippyness. Lol. I removed it during the lift. So never ran the daystar with XREAS. But from what I have read it’s just as good with it. Hope that helps!

Yeah lol. People thought I was crazy but car payment And insurance wise it puts more money in my pocket. Plus I didn’t like having 2 high car payments. Gotta keep the wifey happy with her Outback! Love the setup better then XREAS. Definitely gained a little lift with it due to the old suspenion being worn out and can’t beat the price on amazon for sure.

Can’t really say yes or no. But with newer springs they won’t be sagging as much. So kinda. Don’t know how much if they actually did since I am also running the 2.5/1.5 Daystar. I went with 5th gen stuff since I found it cheap and wanted to ditch the XREAS that was on it.

Some old pics but picked up this new to me 4x6 trailer on 14 Mar after selling my other trailer and finally got around to fixing it up with New tires and some cutting. Had the kiddos help paint it.
