I don't know why I haven't noticed this before, but does anyone else notice their shifter area, particularly the spot near the "2-L" area? It's only when my headlights are on and they have been on for more than 30 minutes, it's not scalding hot, but it's pretty warm (more so than any other car I've owned). I don't notice it anywhere else, so I'm wondering if the bulb down in there is getting too hot, or if it's normal?
I see a lot of stuff regarding this issue on the 3rd gen forums, but not so much here. I was considering replacing the bulb in there with a cool-running LED, even if it's not a problem currently I still wouldn't mind reducing the heat buildup in that area.
