How do I turn off auto-subcriptions and quote notifications?

Since the recent changes to the forum, every time I post to a thread it turns on subscriptions for the thread as well as quote notifications so I get an email every time someone quotes me and it's really annoying. I'd like to default to both these 'features' turned off all the time without resetting them every time I make a post. Where is the setting for these?

You can turn off the subscription in the user cp page. As for the quote notifications, you cannot turn that off. There is a thread in the off topic section or use the link in my signature. The thread is "how to improve this forum". Chime in there with your opinion on the notifications or anything else you may have. There is some discussion right now about turning the notifications off, but it will be a whole deal for everything, either all notifications on or all of them off. Either way, you should go there and voice your opinion. The site admin reviews that thread and is active there in improving the forum on what the members want.

I can't find the shut off either. Put in an Outlook rule to move them to the delete bin when they come in.

Found the subscription control.
User CP-->Edit Options-->Default Thread Subscription Mode. Too bad it doesn't work right. They still turn on after adding a post to a thread

Now if only there were a way to shut off the quote notifications
