How do you avoiding speeding camera tickets other than slow down?

get yourself a decent radar detector. They alert to remote cameras as well. well worth the money if you have a heavy foot or are impatient at red turn signals like myself.
or pack up and move to a state that doesn't allow the issuing of citations based on remote observation, because that is just plain stupid. government and local law agencies already extort enough money from drivers, they shouldn't be able to automate it.

Maybe I'm a little dense or something are you saying they are slower and incapable of going fast enough to get a ticket!:flame:

I just don't pay mine. They send several "threatening" notices in the mail, the reality is they just take them out of your state tax return. The state doesn't need this bogus fee right away so I am in no rush to pay them. The notice does state they will send you to collections blah blah, but the reality is it has never effected my credit score and like I said it just takes it out of my tax return. But if you are really needing an answer....I recommend this system my boss had on his cars and he swears by it.

They are a way to raise money from suckers that don't know their rights.

yes but just reading through the comments on that post it appears they did get sent collections.
Looks like that is limited to Aurora and from what I read the city is not following the letter of the law and the collections are voided but certainly a hassle.
FWIW, I've only dealt with the speeding cameras, not the red lights. My understanding is that the red light citations are actually enforced.

In fact, I used to sell them at one point. Had cops pull me over just to find out where I got the cover from. They worked good if the license plate was straight up and down but not so much if it was angled. My wife had more (still has) of a lead foot than me but the cameras were very sensitive and sometimes would get the wrong vehicle. I would say that they did help cut down on the red light runners in Albuquerque when they were in use.
I have no problem with speeders as long as they keep it within reason considering conditions, know what they're doing, and drive a decent vehicle. But, people who run red lights are on my sh** list. I've witnessed two very bad accidents caused by drivers who t-boned cars that had the green. And, if I didn't make it a habit to check for vehicles before proceeding on a green light, I'd have been in a few accidents too. I don't get people who risk so much and endanger others for so little return.
This is how to avoid speeding tickets...
-Look ahead for bears and Evel Knievals in the median/side of the road and pay attention to other drivers behavior..brake lights, etc..
-Watch out for a fox in the hen house creepin up on you from behind
-Stay out of the left hand lane and use it only to pass
-Use common sense and don't drive like an idiot/jerk...tailgating, excessive lane changes, insane speed, etc..
-Watch out for the bear in the air or a flying donut...pay attention to lines on the highway that they time you between
-If you come across a taco stand, remember the location cuz it just might be there again next month
-Slow down around chicken coops.
-get a CB cuz truckers like to broadcast where the Kojak with the kodak is
-I'm very cautious with speed on back roads cuz the County Mounties are sneaky and they like to hand out tickets vs giving you just a warning

We have no state income tax in Texas. They way they collect is issue a warrant and take you to jail the next time you get pulled over. Ask me how I know.
I'm going to out myself as an old man, but let me suggest driving the speed limit. It's not 55 anymore. If you take the toll road between Austin and San Antonio is 85. Most of Texas is 75 or 80. It's 75 on two-lane state highways here. It's not like y'all are driving from Chattanooga to Beaumont with my dad, who pegged the speedometer at 53 mph the entire 750 miles. And buckle up too.
