How do YOU park your 4R at school?

These pictures you're about to see shows a 3rd gen '99 which used to be my first vehicle before I got into an accident a while ago. I was just looking through iPhoto, and I chuckled a little bit seeing the pictures I took. Just curious to see if anyone parked the same way I did on some days when there were virtually no parking spots for me to park in before heading off to class. How do YOU park your 4Runner (in a way that makes your 4R stand out from the rest)?

I parked my bike under my buddies truck one day in high school. Not because there were no spots, but so my dad wouldn't see it from the road, since I didn't have my endorsement yet.

Man I wish I took some shots!! School parking here sucks!! If you arent on campus by 8:05 am, hang it up! I've parked in the woods and stuff lol.

What is this 'endorsement' you speak of? I'm really confused about your post. Do go into depth!

@Rc4R - I gotta be honest with you...I frown upon those who double parks, but 4R owners are the ONLY exception to this. Sick ride, pal.


@steezemcqueen - Don't lie, you know you would park anywhere if you were in a hurry to get to class. Especially if you have strict professors!

@TFJ - Can't wait! Hopefully the lot will be packed tomorrow. I'm hoping for some pictures tomorrow!!:thanks::thumb3:

@Combat - Are you still in high school? For me, the lot(s) where I park ARE ALWAYS busy from 10 am to 5 pm...life's definitely a struggle when finding a spot. I even leave the crib 30-45 minutes before class (7m away from campus) just to search for a solid parking spot, if there are any available!!!:redbrick:
 
I try to always back in. If there is a 4Runner around I will park by it.

If I parked like those pictures I'd get a fat $30+ fine.

First day of class is tomorrow. Parking is gonna be nuts.

I heard that...I wouldn't dare park like that on campus. Id be fined so fast, campus "police" love writing tickets..
 
Guess my vehicle!

The parking lot was covered in snow in the morning, so everyone got a free pass.

Back in highschool I would park my nasty mud covered Tacoma in the middle of all the kids whose parents bought them a WRX or GTI or a 240sx. They always tried to park in some stupid formation and I always messed it up. Otherwise I tried not to park like a jackwagon so I wouldnt get a ticket or get keyed.
 
The parking stalls at my school are pretty small so I drove the front wheels on top of the cement bumper thing. Was worried that someone might back up into my bumper since no one seems to give a sh!t around here. Campus security got pretty bent out of shape about just that.

the thread is about how you park at school, not daycare:rockthrow: lol
 
Can't say that I ever parked like that....as I was always afraid someone would come along and key my vehicle.

It's been over 10 years since I've been out of school, but I work in a Retail Invironment, and usually park rather far away. I don't like parking next to people, and being in the Security Department, I usually put a Camera on my truck all day! lol!

P.S: I used to be Campus Security my 1st Year out of College...... ;)
 
you guys are why i keep a pad of "you park like a jackass" notes in my 4runner. :p I've never actually used them, because some of them are pretty damn funny.
