How many 4th gens have you seen broken down?

I just thought it might be an interesting poll to see how many 4th gens everyone has seen on the side of the road broken down. Granted, it could just be a flat, but I'm still curious. Personally, I've never seen one on the side of the road.

I have never seen any 4th gen 4Runner's broken down on the side of the road. The only Toyota's I have seen broken were a very old Camry and a very old Corolla. Recently, I have seen a new Audi A8, Mercedes SL500, and BMW X5 broken down. A few days ago, I was getting gas and an X5 was there waiting for help because it was all out of coolant.

Luxury, I think don't think this poll is going to be a close one!

No 4th gen, but i saw a 2nd gen a couple of weeks ago. I couldnt help but feeling a little sad.

Too new...

4th gen Runners are only 2 1/2 years old at the most.....that is too new to see any broken down by the side of the road......but then I rarely see any Toyotas broken down except for some old 1980s or earlier ones that have gone through 5 owners and was ready for the farm.

I have NEVER seen a 4th gen 4Runner broken down other than a flat tire issue. I did see 3 (count em THREE) Land Rovers broken down this past week between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, UT. One was being put on a tow truck in Vegas with the lady driver sitting in the tow truck's passenger seat. A few days later I seen another Land Rover in downtown Lost Wages, NV with a tow man hooking it up. Lastly, I seen one on a snowy I-15 near Beaver, UT with temps hovering in the -15 degree range and a Utah hwy patrolman radioing in for a tow truck. All of these Range Rovers were the new ones with the rounded back ends. I don't believe they were the sport models.

Yesterday, I saw a brand new Durango stuck in the middle lane of a major highway.

Not a single one, ever, nada. They don't break down. I have seen 3rd gens on the side though. I'm guessing it's because 4th gens are generally only a few years old and don't have any problems yet, unless you blow the tire.

I don't see any toyota's broken down generally........ stuck in mud maybe, but not broken down

Well saw the 2nd 4th gen last night. It was a 2003 with the hood up in the left turn lane and some type of fluids running out underneath the engine bay.

Interesting because I never thought about it and on any given day I would see so many 4Runners out and about and not a single one broken down. I do however see many UHauls hood up.
