How much does your TR4 weigh after mods?

Finally getting close to finishing the build on my truck and I weighed it and dry weight is now 5500lbs and that does not include the RCI skids that are in the mail or a front bumper. Am curious what everyone else’s weigh after modifications.

I travel with all my tools, a 20ton bottle Jack, and a bunch of water/camping gear. 5200lbs with me in and no gas (had to do a dump run a couple days ago)

So with no front bumper or skids, where is all the weight coming from? Seems like you're at least 1000 lbs over stock. (Stock curb weight, empty, was spec'd at ~4300 lbs for the 4th gen 4runner.)

BTW, I don't know how accurate those landfill scales are. The differential weight between full and empty is all they care about, and that's probably pretty good, but the absolute accuracy for something as light as a 4runner might be suspect. Those scales are designed for weighing 40,000 lb trash trucks - we barely budge the "needle", so to speak.

My guess on increase is weight is: 4x innovations rear bumper with tire carrier which weighs around 250lbs, sliders about 150lbs, tools and recover gear about 150lbs, 5 e-load copper tires, custom interior which includes heavy gauge vinyl floors and then 3-5 layers of sound proofing on all surfaces. Also replaced rear control arms with metal tech control arms.

Re-weighed the truck and it is 5260lbs with half tank of gas. Did a thousand mile trip over the weekend and with two larger adults, a teenager in back with food and gear, you could really feel the weigh especially when stopping.

I weighed a bit ago at a dump as well, came in at about 5820 lbs. This included myself, probably 100lbs or so of recovery gear/random stuff in the back, as well as 3/4 tank of fuel.

ARB Front, Superwinch 12k Talon, steel cable
4x4Labs Rear, full spare
RCI front, transmission, and transfer case skids
RCI Sliders

This didn't include my 3 jerry cans I will take on longer trips on the rear bumper, nor the CVT Shasta Extended Summit RTT I just got.

On one hand I was a bit surprised, on the other, once I thought about how little attention I paid to weight when building the rig, it made perfect sense. Definitely something one needs to watch out for/keep in mind at the end of the day.

I am right about 5100lbs.
Full steel RCI skids/WK sliders/heavy steel front bumper/warn 8000 winch w/poly rope, but an aluminum rear bumper...only 60-70lbs (without anything on it...tire and wheel is another 86lbs. 285/75/16r) full tank and just me in it...no extra gear/peeps.

Haven't gotten weighed yet but I'd wager I'm around 5800 lbs. My wheel/tire combo alone is about 90 lbs per corner.
