How much is my 3rd gen 1998 Blue 4WD Manual worth? Thanks for the help!

Hello Guys, I just needed some good information. Can anyone let me know how much I can expect to sell my 4runner for? It's in great shape, has some paint fading here and there. I listed it on Facebook marketplace, and got a 12.5k offer. However, ive seen some other rare 3rd-gens listed for 15-20k. 1998 Toyota 4Runner 4WD V6 5 speed manual transmission (3 pedals forever). Only 143K miles! 2 owners, no accidents, Carfax. Roof rack, running boards, tow package, moonroof, stereo. Very clean and a very rare blue color.

That's a pretty good price in today's marketplace. It's not a steal for the buyer but not a ripoff either. As you know, if you want to get max money, you have to be prepared to wait longer. One hears stories of similar T4Rs selling for 17K, 20K, etc but prices like that may need special marketing to susceptible buyers with an overabundance of cash. Does it have the original shocks and springs? Are the tires good or need to be replaced? Does it need any $$$ repairs to get back to baseline? This is what a savvy buyer will be thinking about.

Like Pluton said. For higher prices, everything is going to have to be perfect. All the maintenance will have to be completed. As people wont want any leaks or warn out ball joints. I think the market cooled some so the really high values will be gone as these rigs get order their value will slowly drop. Only the extremely low mileage pristine ones will get the higher pricing. This also depends on the buyers though. As its only worth really want someone is willing to pay for it.
