I’m asking $18,500 to start with. If you’re going to bash, please move on.
Light surface rust in some areas, not the flaking rust you see on some of the 3rd generation Runners.
Only 95k miles! (Avg 5,000 per year)
Second owner (age 52). Now we have a minivan.
Radiator... replaced pro-actively, before any problems (18k miles ago, OEM)
Lower ball joints… replaced pro-actively before any problems (18k miles ago, OEM)
Timing belt, water pump, tensioner done (18k miles ago, 90k interval)
10 years of service receipts
Synthetic oil since 47k, 4k approximate OCI oil-change interval
4WD and center diff lock engage every time
Gets 23 MPG highway if I keep the speed to 65 MPH
(cleaning the MAF and one tank of Chevron seemed to help, and maybe this one has the better axle ratio)
Skid plate bolts (all 9)… are now stainless steel, and the receiving threads are perfect.
Skid plates are clean. When I do oil and filter changes, I remove the skid plates. (Same goes with the area below the oil filter - I stuff a rag under there beforehand.)
Many factory option upgrades:
Sunroof / Moonroof with Power Tilt or Slide, sun shade. (No leaks.)
Leather sport seats
Remote control rear window (great at the grocery store) with 2 key fobs
Fog lights
Dunno if these are standard or upgrades:
Cruise control
Intermittent front and rear wipers
16" Alloy wheels
13" heavy-duty front brakes

Hi - This is the popular "3rd gen. T4R" but WITHOUT ALL THE FRAME RUST. (Some of these have flaking frame rust from salted roads.) 10 years of receipts - oil changes, etc. done regularly.
This one has rarely seen snow/salt - CARFAX HISTORY: "Seattle." When it does snow (rarely), I rinse the underside asap to get rid of the road de-icer.

Strong engine. Previous owner converted to synthetic oil at 47k and I stayed with that and a 4k OCI oil-change interval. (10k is common with synthetic but I wanted the engine to last a really long time.)

Push-button 4WD (4H/4L/AWD/center diff. lock. Some 4Runners are rear wheel drive only.)
Locking center differential, for when more traction is needed!
Vehicle stability control (VSC), Active traction control, ABS anti-lock brakes, airbags

Full disclosure:
(Normal for 95k miles.) A few scratches here and there, underside has a few areas of light surface rust (not the flaking frame rust you see on some 3rd generation 'Runners), driver's seat has small torn area on the side, little 3" center hubcaps look terrible (the paint didn't stick too well), original Toyota floor mats - the driver's mat has a small hole worn in it.
