How much would you pay?

Well we've got everything from "walk away" to "for sure get it". The consensus seems to be the most you'd pay would be 4500 and 4000 would be a 'good' price if you were to buy it.

I'll ask my wife for a sanity check and then maybe offer 4500. I gotta remember that time is on my side.

Thanks guys, and thanks especially for the CARFAX.

Thanks afg10000, but I've been holding out for a 5 speed. I might consider shipping a truck if a good one came up, however.

If you're willing to go for a South Dakota vehicle, thought I'd throw this at ya. Just saw it listed this morning. I'd go look at it for ya if you'd like. I wouldn't mess with the one you're looking at.

That's exactly what I want!! ...if there is no rust. I just don't feel like I'm ready to lay down cash. I could do it, but I have a car that I'd like to sell first. I gotta get rid of my other car and then start a serious search!! I do feel like the prices will not be going up anytime soon, with the Spring coming.

the salvage title make it worth even less(i know"hail damage") not the end of the world but,all in all its not perfect and the lot is going for top dollar.
Used car lots dont care if you buy it. They think that there is an a$$ for every seat and someone who can afford it may overpay and if they cant afford it they will be their only option and crush them with high interest.
walking away is the right choice.

I have now a 3rd runner 5 speed with??? a broken frame! yeah baby!
i got it on the cheap and it will be repaired and driven hard soon but we are talking peanuts compared to the 6 grand that guy is spewing, and my title is clean

I'd walk. The frame is ugly, the body's got rust, too. I'd love to have a highlander with those options too, but this one's a no go.

4500 is too much for that rig unless u plan to never sell it. Salvage title means walk away to 90% of buyers. I personally wouldnt pay over 3500 but it is your money. Good 3rd gens are hard to find but they are still out there.
