There are many ways to do this, I'm only going to focus on one for this tutorial to keep it simple.
1. Browse to http://http://tinypic.com/
2. Click on "Choose file" button (this assumes you already have the pictures stored on your computer and know where they are.
3. Select your file and click "Ok"
4. Click on "Upload Now", at this point you may be asked to answer a security question, these vary and all I can say is follow the simple instructions.
5. One you have the completed the security question you will be taken to a page showing your picture and the "code" to embed it in your post.

1. Select your photo from hopefully where you remember you stored it.
2. Highlight this "code" and cut and paste into your post, do not use the image embed link. Just cut and past the code, it already has the embed tags.
You can click on the "quote" button of this post to see the link to the pictures and the tag to embed them, if yours doesnt look the same something might be wrong.
