How to clean up these wheels...

I picked up a 2000 SR5 last week and the wheels are in need of some stripping/refinishing.

I don't mind if they are simply stripped and unfinished looking (silver) but I'm unsure about what is best to use on them, and if they should then be coated with anything for protection.

Haha. Well that is an option, but I'm looking to run with what I've got until I need to replace them

Im going to reccomend the 3m brand paint and rust stripper wheel. It goes into a drill, and if used with a consistent and high speed drill can clean up wheels great. I went through two of them working on my tundra 17's
