How to mount larger CB radio in 5th GEN

I know alot of people have struggled with this. I bought this universal radio housing and debated installing a bracket under headliner to mount it to the roof. And looked at mounting to top of dash. Not sure. Any ideas?

I bought a Uniden Bearcat 980SSB which is a little on the larger side but had the features I wanted.

I'm also gonna be using the
Uniden BC906W CB Wireless Microphone so I won't have to deal with the mic cord which is awesome.
