How to tighten rear gate - squeaking noise

I have an intermitten squeaking noise coming from the rear gate, and am wondering if there's something I can tighten back there to correct it or if I'll need to take it in to Toyota?

THis is on a 2004 SR5 model without spoiler.

I kept getting a knocking noise back there, so every time I took it in I would have it taken care of. It came back fine, then about 2,000 miles or so later the noise would come back.

Last time I was at the dealer, I walked out and talked to the technician working on the truck and asked him to show me what he does. His response: "I just lube the rubber bumpers in the tailgate area. They get dry and need to be lubed."

I haven't put enough miles on it to get the noise, but try lubing them -- I think there are two or four (too lazy to go outside and look tonight).
