hub centric or lug centric

One way to tell is by the lug nuts. Lug centric are angled at the end to push the wheel as you tighten the nut so that it is centered between all the lugs. The stock Toyota wheel lugs nuts are not angled.

The table I found said 106mm but best to measure.

Measured mine today, 106mm inner, 110mm outer is what I need.

I am confused...

Lug centric and Hub centric?

If you car was designed to have lug centric wheels.. how can you just change to hub centric?

Would there not be something needed to be designed into the hub to support the wheel? Is that not why we are lug centric?

Looking at the big picture this is all very stupid.. if the hub is the center of the axel and the wheel must spin around it.. why on earth would someone design the rim to be centered around the lugs when it could be centered around the hub?

As for Toyota's decision to go with lug centric over hub centric, I can't help you there. It does seem to be one of very few design oversights on Toyota's part with respect to these trucks. 80 series LC's changed from one to the other in a certain year (which way they switched to/from, and what year I don't know), so it's not constant across the board.

The hub does appear to be capable of centering wheels as well, I'll post back when I get the hub centric rings I ordered, and let you know.

Agreed. I feed the same way about ball joints too. Not just a Toyota thing obviously. Just on all vehicles, why on earth would they make them press in when they could simply make the end of them a thick threaded section which uses a heavy duty nut and cotter pin to lock on. Franky I think ball joints are stupid all together. Just use a 4 pivit system with bushing or bearings. It would much stronger, and probably require less maintenance.

The product description

sez theyre NOT hub centric so theyre LUG centric. The BS is the same as the OE wheels. sounds fine to me. You might try contacting procomp and asking them.
