Hub ring question

I put new wheels on and it has a highway shake. I watched them Balance the wheels to perfect and it still shakes. Could i need hub rings and if so how do i know what to buy?

Edit-my wheel bore is 108.3 and stock is 106.xx. could this be my problem

This is just for illustrative purposes, but I think what you need to look for is something like this: Gorilla Automotive 108-106.1 Wheel Hub Centric Rings (108mm OD x 106.1mm ID) - Pack of 4 : Amazon.com : Automotive

If you click through the pictures in that link above it should be much clearer for you to visualize, but basically you would use them to hold the wheel in the exact center position before you tighten down the lug nuts (so it's perfectly centered, duh :)).

Off centered wheels can of course be a source of highway vibration, so it definitely would not hurt to try to eliminate as many variables as possible. Wheel balance could still be an issue (even though you watched them), it all depends on how skilled the tech is who is working the machine.

Took it and had rings installed and the thing still shakes. I have an app at toyota tommorow. They are going to check the balance with the adapter thing and look it over
