Hummer H3 SUT (4 door truck) what ya think?

1st off I am a car geek - I bet most of us are that surf car web sites? I have been checking out the new H3SUT on the web and think It could replace my 4Runner? Nothing wrong with my rig - the problem is with me, just ready for something diff.

The local dealer said that they should have them by mid Oct. and they already have a list started. Makes sence cause I got my 04 at the end of Oct. 03. Just wonder if any of you guys have noticed it and what you think. The web site has a pix of one with a slant back that looks cool and some pixs of the bed - look bigger than the min bed on the H2sut? I wonder if the mid-gate opens or if you can get to the bed from the front? I also saw some pix of H3 with 37's and a 4 inch lift - very stout!

Here is the non H# SUT with the lift. Now if you put that lift on the SUT you'll have one wicked ride!

Take a closer look at getting a Taco and lifting it.

Hummers are still ranked near the bottom of the reliability list and you simply won't find to many supporters of one on these forums.

Sort of silly to want one of those when gas prices will rise again in the spring and the resale tanks.

I have been watching these and I like them. It's a great size/package. I agree with everbody else, it's no 4Runner. I'd plan on breaking expensive stuff if you use it hard.

Having said that there's a lot of 'Harley Davidson' factor. They're cool, the aftermarket has tons of stuff and you're a member of 'family'. A 5.3L one would be very fun. If you play with something for 4 years and don't mind breaking stuff it would be fun.

The V8 H3 SUT is way cooler to me than the H2. It'll handle a bike in the back and it's narrow enough to park and run down a trail. That's my take...
