Humming sound, I can't tell what's wrong

I just installed an external transmission cooler bypassing the radiator and ever since I did that most times when I get up to about 50 mph there is a low humming sound and a very light vibration in my car, this has never happened before. I'm not sure if the cooler has anything to do with this, maybe the bends in the tube could be too sharp and it isn't allowing the fluid to run smoothly through it? Or maybe there's not enough transmission fluid in it? I have no idea. If anyone has any idea on what this could possibly be please help me. Thank you!

Srs though, where have you installed the transmission cooler? It could be airflow around it is creating the hum, or it could be getting pushed back by airflow and lightly contacting a part of the truck (the rad?) that it's not contacting when stationary.

Have you noticed if the truck is running cooler as a result of the install? If there was a bend in the pipe, and the fluid flow was being hampered, I'd expect it to get hotter.

It maybe just coincidence that you noticed the vibration after the trans cooler was installed it is a hard thing to connect a vibration to fluid transfer. The first thing I would do is triple check the fluid level as if the fluid level is low it maybe not allowing the torque converter clutch to be engaging fully which would cause your symptoms. The next thing I would check would be to not think about the trans cooler and go by what would be the most likely cause if you hadn't installed the cooler which would be the rear driveshaft rear most u joint either seized tight or loose. Most u joint issues happen in the upper 40 mph range. Good luck and post your findings if you can to help us all.

And to answer your question it's either running at about the same temperature or maybe a little cooler
