Husky Cargo Liner installed

Don't mind at all, thanks to you & Jesse1983 in helping me get these here. Called realtruck.com, they have a 20% restocking fee (about $15) plus the cost to ship it back. They'll waive the re-stocking fee if you take your refund in a store gift card but seeing they don't have another option here I may just keep this.

I don't either....

I don't like the fact that they stick up.........I would much rather have seen them go down under the sliding tray and seal up underneath. Does that make sense? I don't know if there is any room for something like that will have to look at the car when I get home.

Looks like just thrown in as is -- looks really good on the non-sliders
 
Wow...umm...yuck! I figured the design would be better somehow. I know there is not a a lot to work with dealing with the sliding deck, but there has to be something better than that! It looks like some of these companies are rushing things out the door for the 10's just so that can have something 'available'. Oh well... I too will wait for something better! Sorry you had to be the 'tester'!
 
What exactly did everyone expect it would look like??? This looks exactly like I would have guessed it would. I can't imagine a better way to make a raised lip cargo liner that still allows the deck to slide out. I'm sure they could make a mat that would lower down to the small wing sections past the fender wells but then the cargo deck would never be able to slide out.

The real issue is that having a sliding cargo deck causes issues that a normal/fold flat 3rd row cargo mat area doesn't have.
 
:iagree: This is a dirt, sand and grass catcher. For that purpose, looks like it will work great. And, when needed to be removed, looks like it will be a simpler process vs. the flat matts.

Got my husky cargo with no slide or 3rd row yesterday, actually 2 of them!
2/18 ordered from TSE 95.95 said usually ships in 1-3 days, no other communitcation. Credit card hit 3-10. 3-18 nothing so call, said didn't know when would ship so I cancel and I was told they would credit my card. No email or notifications.....

March 18 order from Real Truck $71.95 with promo. Great communications on shipping tracking 3/24 ships.

Yesterday I get both of them! Of course no credit on the card! I hate when a company does that to try to force a sale.... and hate when a company charges card before product ships!
I will never do business with TSE again! :flipoff:
 
It looks to me like if it was a little bit larger, I'd turn it upside-down so that the sides would be underneath the tray...wouldn't that make more sense and look a helluva lot better?
 
I was thinking the exact same thing... if only it were bigger and turned over to cover the entire deck. Hopefully soon there will be an option like that.
 
If you don't want something with a lip that keeps the debris and liquids from getting all over the place you have lots of solutions. Just get the carpet from Toyota or buy a universal mat.

I love mine, I went to home depot and got a piece of crap outdoor carpet and cut it out to fit right inside of the mat. This keeps the dogs from sliding around and makes it really easy to just pull it out and shake it off. I love it, got it off of "autoanything" They have more things for the new 2010 4Runner than anywhere else I've found.
 
Husky Liner on sliding deck

I have dogs that get dirty and I like to mountain bike where my clothes, shoes, camelbak, helmet etc all get very muddy when I'm all done. The Husky cargo mat has been a life saver.

At first I didn't like how it only covered the sliding deck, but now that I'm use to it and made a slight modification. I would recommend it to anyone.

I removed the rear lip on it. The main reason I did this was b/c my dogs were miss-judging the jump height. So I got a straight edge and a utility knife. Now the dogs can better judge the height and in my opinion, it actually looks better.

In addition, I installed the dog gate which is super easy to install/remove. Highly recommended if you have dogs.

It actually looks pretty good now that you cut off the back lip. I wonder if the company would mod it before shipment... How much of the back did you cut off?
 
Took 2" off and left approx 1/2" lip

Thanks. I took approx 2" off (which left approx a 1/2" lip) using a utility knife and a long straight edge. First I cut the corners where I wanted them, then this allowed me to flatten the rear lip with the straight edge and run the knife along it. I used a nice sharp blade and cut slowly to avoid and stray cuts.
