In those pics the liner looks to sit perfectly flat . Did you remove the flip up thing on the back of the tray ?Hey Tedward hope you don't mind here are 2 of your pics:

Removed the flip-up cargo divider...
Since the liner was covering the divider, I removed the divider. I thought about cutting an opening for the flip-up to slide through, so that I could continue to use it, but decided I would try this first. So far, I'm quite happy with how mine is working. Removing the divider if very easy.
Even without the liner, I found the flip-up divider to not lay as flat as I would have liked, so inevitably I was going to remove it.

Post up a new pic with the back removed.....I need a cargo mat to keep my dog from sliding around on acceleration.

Most folks prefer the liners over the mats, as the liners offer more protection from sand/snow/water from spilling over onto the carpet. The two most popular brands are the WTs and Husky liners - the latter being about $60 cheaper. There have been a couple of threads with pics talking about the various pros and cons of each. Here is one of them.
I have the same as you. I got the Husky liners, and also the husky rear cargo liner. The front/2nd row liners fit nicely and they do keep all the winter snow/mud/crud in the liner. One other nice thing about the liners is that I can run a few wires under them and they're hidden and protected (ham radio power and antenna wires).
The cargo liner is okay. I think it works pretty well, but it has a huge lip on all sides. It seems a little bit long and I have to slam the door hard to get it to close properly. I may cut the rear down a bit as others have done. But it does seem like it will keep any spills in liner.
The material seems pretty good - durable, not too slippery. I bought Weathertech liners for my wife's car and they fit nicely but they seem more slippery. I prefer the Huskys.
Only concern - if I have to use the 3rd row seat (even just one of them), I'll probably have to take the entire cargo liner out.

+1 for the Husky liners. They do seem to have a rubberized-like feel, a great fit, and good thickness. Plus they are real easy to wipe down. The cargo mat does have the big lip, but its no problem because the fit is exact. Got mine from autoanything a few weeks ago and paid about $180 for the front, rear, and cargo mats.
